What makes a recruitment company different? In Quanta’s case, we don’t even like to be thought of as being just a recruitment company. To us, finding and recruiting people is just one way to solve a resourcing issue. Sometimes it’s the right way; sometimes there are other ways to achieve a better result.
This different perspective enables us to offer significantly better value to both our clients and our candidates. But our differentiators don’t end there.

Focused on delivery, not sales

In contrast to many recruitment agencies, Quanta is very much a ‘delivery company’, not a ‘sales company’. Where other recruitment companies would immediately suggest hiring new people, we’re good at helping customers identify the underlying basis of a resourcing problem before we even think about what the most effective solution will be. If you don’t fix the underlying problem, then you’ll just end up continually churning people through the business – great for recruitment companies, but potentially crippling for you.

An honest approach that customers trust

We’re extremely honest in our approach, which has led us to develop an enviable rapport with our customers. Our customers trust us, because they’ve seen that we’re not just focused on placing candidates but on solving resourcing issues.

Able to find the right people quickly

We have an extensive network of potential candidates. While our candidate database has over 100,000 people in it, we often solve resourcing issues by working closely with our more immediate network – people who love working with Quanta and are not only happy to put themselves forward, but also actively recommend friends and colleagues. It’s worth remembering that, typically, the best people aren’t looking for new jobs, so the most effective person may not be found on even the most up-to-date CV database.

We don’t waste our clients’ valuable time

We don’t waste clients’ time by sending them either lots of CVs or CVs that aren’t relevant. We don’t send more than three CVs for each job – and each CV we submit is of someone we are very confident can do the job and fit in with the company’s culture. Our aim is to send three CVs for the client to shortlist and interview two, from which a placement is made.

We only submit candidates who can do the job

We undertake thorough candidate assessments, using interviews and references to ensure that candidates are suitable for the job.

Less of the hard sell, more of the hard results

We’re not a ‘cold-calling, hard-selling’ company. Our culture is one of solving problems, not hitting phones. We aim to provide better solutions to fewer customers. Our customers tell us that we’re one of the few recruitment companies that actually listen to and understand what they’re looking for.

Big enough to handle anything, small enough to do it well

We think of ourselves as a ‘little-big’ company – we have everything a large recruitment company has in terms of being able to provide solutions, but we operate quickly and proactively. We employ only great people and empower them to get on with the job.

We’re open-minded about the industries within which we work – although we’ve generated vast experience in certain markets such as information technology, pharmaceutical/bio-pharmaceutical and engineering, we are first and foremost recruitment and resourcing specialists.
