      <title>Project Risk Manager M4 Corridor, UK J011488</title>
      <description>Our clients is one of the UK?s leading renewable energy developers and operators.  Its parent company develops, builds and operates offshore wind farms along the coasts of several European countries.  Their extensive project pipeline includes wind farms totalling over 4GW. Projects are constructed on a multi-contract basis taking an active involvement in all engineering aspects.

They currently require a Project Risk Manager (PRM) who is responsible for the risk management of a major multi-contract offshore wind project from procurement phase through construction to commercial operation. The PRM participates in the development of risk management processes and is in charge of implementing those processes within the project.  The PRM works closely together with package managers and interfaces with centrally coordinated risk management functions.

The PRM is responsible for the following key activities:

* Managing the risk management process of a major multi-contract offshore wind project from procurement phase through construction to commercial operation
* Development and execution of the ?Project Risk Management Plan?
* Managing and facilitating risk workshops on package and project level
* Management and administration of project risk register. Ensuring that all risk response plans are executed according to the plans
* Managing and facilitating risk and scenario modelling to determine project confidence data as required
* Collating, integrating, evaluating and reporting project business risks (commercial, technical, political, financial, HSE, etc).
* Working together with centrally coordinated risk management functions to ensure that project complies with risk management directives and that lessons learnt and best practices are shared across projects

Knowledge &amp; Skills ? Essential:

* Risk management experience within engineering, construction or energy environment 
* Ability to develop and implement risk management strategies within large construction project environment with multiple stakeholders, thereby promoting a risk management culture
* Highly proficient with MS Excel. 
* Excellent communication capabilities with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English 
* Excellent analytical skills with the capability to transform findings into solutions, hence output orientated
* Highly motivated
* The ability to work independently

Knowledge &amp; Skills ? Desirable:

* Degree qualified or equivalent in an economic, business or engineering discipline
* Proficient with a specialist risk management software, such as Active Risk Manager, @Risk, Primavera Risk (Pertmaster), etc, to undertake Quantitative risk modelling

      <title>Lead Cost Engineer M4 Corridor, UK J011489</title>

Projects are constructed on a multi-contract basis taking an active involvement in all engineering aspects.

The Lead Cost Engineer (LCE) is responsible for cost management of major contracts for a multi-contract offshore wind construction project. The Lead Cost Engineer works closely together with package managers taking the lead in various commercial aspects of the contracts.  Main cost management responsibilities include cost control, forecasting and reporting as well as claims administration and management. The Lead Cost Engineer will also develop and administer project cost control procedures and works to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of the project. The Lead Cost Engineer will lead a team of Cost Engineers and/or Quantity Surveyors when additional resources are needed. Those cost engineering resources will consist of in-house specialists as well as external consultants.

Principal Accountabilities:

* Plan cost management function within the project to ensure that adequate resources are in place when required and communicate the plan to project management well in advance
* Cost forecasting and reporting. Keep cost forecasts up to date and report them on regular basis
* Develop and administer project controls. Update procedures and processes in the cost management plan
* Provide commercial support for package managers in relation to contract variations. Analyse costs and benefits of alternative solutions when changes occur within the project and create recommendations based on the estimated cost and benefit implications
* Contractor claims administration and management. Handle contractor claims and ensure that commercial interests are taken into account in all related actions. Analyse claims against the relevant contracts and the situation at hand. Communicate with contractors to remedy non-valid claims and when needed seek support from other departments

Knowledge &amp; Skills - Essential:

* Significant cost and contract management experience within engineering, construction or energy environment.
* Good understanding of project financial management principles with cost estimating, forecasting and reporting experience
* Project planning and scheduling experience with the capability to recognise key cost and schedule drivers within complex multi-contract projects
* Proficient with project cost management tools and concepts, such as Earned Value and Work Breakdown Structures
* Excellent analytical skills with the capability to transform findings into solutions, hence output orientated
* Highly proficient with MS Excel and knowledgeable with a planning tool such as MS Project or Primavera
* Excellent communication capabilities with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English
* Chartered Quantity Surveyor or equivalent qualification
* Prior management/leadership experience

Knowledge &amp; Skills - Desirable:

* Experience within the offshore environment.
