Key Words:
Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer on 3G or GSM equipment, Chassis, Baseband unit, Backplanes, ATCA, NEBS, ETS, PICMG, Packaging electronics.

Responsibilities:
*Design of ATCA but specifically within Telecom equipment such as Blades, Thermal and Backplanes 
*Responsible for designing the indoor chassis for Core Network products, with consideration for thermals, acoustics, power, EMI, electro-mechanical reliability, etc.
*Focus on providing solutions to key mechanical issues including usability, installation, UCD (User-Centred Design), etc.
*Additionally responsible for the improvement of manufacture and reducing cost.  

Background required:
*Experience on mechanical development in telecom equipment, a vast experience with integrated system design, including power, mechanical, thermal, and environmental within the telecoms environment
*Familiar with Pro/E or alternative 3D CAD system.
*Must have experience with chassis and cabinet design, any ATCA or CPCI mechanical design experience would be an advantage.
*Knowledge of heat dissipation, acoustic noise, power, and environmental testing.
*Familiar with applicable industry codes &amp; standards (IEC, ETS, NEBS, PICMG3.X
*Familiar with mechanical manufacturing technology.

      <description>We are recruiting on behalf of Major Telecom Vendor for a SDP Senior Architect for an immediate contract start in Brussels, Belgium. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SDP Senior Architect contractor to work with one of the Wolrds Fastest Growing Telecom Vendors in Brussels Belgium.

The SDP Senior Architect will work within the Telecom Vendors new European Architecture Design Team, which will focus on SDP (Service Delivery Platform) and NGIN (Next Generation Intelligent Network) within the EU. Candidate:

Qualifications:
