Welcome to Quanta – we deliver solutions which include recruitment, but we’re keen to stress that we’re far more than just a recruitment company. We believe that recruitment is just one possible solution to resourcing issues – and that offering recruitment alone is akin to a marketing company only creating leaflets.
A broader range of resourcing and recruitment solutions
At Quanta, we invest time in understanding why an organisation has a resource issue before we propose a solution. In some cases, hiring new people or bringing in contractors won’t be the best solution – and the organisation could simply get itself into a vicious circle of ‘churning people’ while the business suffers.
Recruitment is just one of a range of resourcing services which we provide – and, while it’s at the heart of our business, we assess situations objectively to ensure that it’s only used when it is the right solution. By understanding the underlying causes to a resourcing problem, we are often able to recommend more appropriate action, such as knowledge transfer, knowledge management or process optimisation.
A more effective solution to resourcing and recruitment issues
Essentially, most recruitment companies are ‘sales companies’ in that the majority of their focus goes into sales. When it comes to placing people in roles, the process can be no more sophisticated than sending a few CVs and hoping some will stick. Quanta doesn’t play the ‘numbers game’. We are a ‘delivery company’ – most of our focus and effort goes into finding people with exactly the right knowledge and skills needed to fit our customers’ needs. This focus means that although we may not be the biggest recruitment company, we often provide the most effective solution.
Committed for the long haul
Our approach is intensive – so while we don’t expect our first job with a client to be profitable, we do believe that the thoroughness of our approach will impress. So, over time, we believe that we can develop a successful relationship that keeps customers coming back to us, because we really understand what they need – and can deliver it time and time again.
