A Solutions Architect is required to join a global document management technology and services company based in Uxbridge, but working on a European basis where travel is expected. Solution Architects will be involved in the delivery of technology based solutions, project management and leading virtual teams through high profile projects.

The role

This Solutions Architect position will be based within the European Business Team, and will be focussed on technology based solutions for Document Management, Imaging, Content Management, workflow and outsourcing.  

This role is strongly client focussed and candidates will be expected to travel to client sites across the UK and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Crafting winning solutions
• Crafting deliverable solutions and services
• Supporting service transition into live service deliverables.
• Owning the client solution architecture post go-live, acting as a reference point to update/improve the solution as necessary based on changing client requirements.
• Support Bidding Team
• Act as the technical authority to input for solution design
• Attend business approval meetings
• Influence at customer focus meeting as a technical authority for client needs.
• Designing Innovative solutions and manage the work of different specialists, including partners and 3rd parties.

Experience required

• Relevant degree qualification
• A proven track record in complex technology based outsourced business; having worked in solution architecting, service delivery management or other IT related business functions.
• A background delivering complex document management, imaging, workflow and content management solutions.
• Sound experience in designing technology based services and solutions in response to clients’ key business drivers
• Proven ability to innovate to provide services that improve client’s business performance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a background that is heavily client focused.
• The ability to lead and motivate virtual teams.
