A Programme Manager / Senior Project Manager who has strong Ecommerce project management experience is required by a major retailer based in Buckinghamshire.
The successful candidate will have experience of managing a team of Project Managers and will offer skills in mentoring, development as well as strong planning and strategic management skills within an Ecommerce environment.

The Role

To plan, manage and control one or more projects schedules
Manage other project managers, bringing expertise, process and strong governance processes to the delivery programme.
Monitoring and reporting progress to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
Recommend resolutions to issues and conflicts arising out of the project and dependencies to ensure that cost and timescales are met
Manage any changes, which arise during the development of the project to ensuring that the impact on schedule, cost and quality is controlled
To provide a key interface for the business during the project lifecycle
Ensure that the business requirements are being met

Experience

Minimum of 7 years experience as a Programme / Senior Project Manager, preferably within the e-commerce arena
Experience of managing substantial projects
Responsibility covering a complex delivery agenda within an e-commerce environment.
Have a strong ecommerce background
Formal Project Management training in PRINCE2
Strong retail / financial background
