A successful Energy Trading company requires a new Head of IT Performance Management to join them on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Global Head of IT, the successful IT Manager will be responsible for managing the performance of multiple IT operational teams and for continual management of the IT performance budget. This is a Pan-European role and will require considerable interaction with IT departments and teams in multiple locations. Travelling throughout Europe is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Full IT budget control and management, review and enhancement to ensure optimisation
- Provide analysis, reports and explanations of all IT financial aspects including any budget deviations to senior stakeholders
- Management of IT performance costs, time-to-market, productivity and customer/employee satisfaction
- Management of IT risk and service continuity
- IT audit management
- Set targets, measuring and monitoring processes against IT performance
- Stakeholder management
- Coordinate with pan-European subgroups to ensure full compatibility and integration of IT performance
Skill needed
- Excellent and proven IT management skills
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to act as a single point of contact or point of escalation
- Strong analytical skills and experience managing within a commercial IT environment
- High-level knowledge of IT costs, IT budgets and IT spend
- Project governance, project tracking and project reporting ability
- Negotiation skills for external and internal stakeholders
- Matrix management, Off-shore management, one-on-one management experience
- The ideal candidate will have English and German language skills
