IT Infrastructure Analyst is required to join a company providing solutions to the fast growing online gaming/sports industry in St Albans. The role involves providing Infrastructure Support to all 85 network users which includes the voice and data infrastructure. Our client is looking for an experienced Infrastructure professional who possesses excellent knowledge Wintel and Windows Servers.
Currently based in St Albans, Hertfordshire the desired candidate will support and maintain the Voice and data infrastructure. The team have a friendly and dynamic culture which is supported by a hardworking culture.
The role
- Support and maintenance of Servers, which are predominantly Wintel based but we do have some Linux machines.
- Support, maintenance and configuration of Juniper Firewalls
- Support and maintenance of LAN/WAN switching environment
- Support and maintenance of Windows Server and desktop operating systems, to include:-
Windows 2003 Server, AD, Group Policy, DNS, profiles, Desktop images, rolling out patches and updates, Windows XP, Microsoft Clustering, Microsoft Exchange 2003 ,Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft IIS, Microsoft Office and VM Ware
Infrastructure Analyst Requirements
- A minimum 5 years experience of providing support in a financial environment or large Blue-chip organisation, where time is money and the IT Infrastructure has to be maintained to an extremely high level.
- Demonstrable IT knowledge – windows Server, AD, Juniper, HP, clustering DNS
- Any Oracle skills or experience would be very beneficial.
- Team Player – you will be part of a growing, highly skilled and dedicated IT team which takes pride in delivering solutions to improve and drive the business forward in the most effective and efficient way
