A multi-nation Energy Trading company who currently has a vacancy for a Cable Inspector to be basedin Sweden and Norway. This opportunity is for nine months will report into the Package Manager on Site, office based ,suppliers and offshore on the vessel. As the Cable Inspector your will be required to inspect, validate and test cables associated materials ensuring the security of supply through the project. The core responsibility will be the inspection of supplier`s components making sure they comply with the project, contract requirements Interfaces Purchasing, Engineering Change Management, Accounting, Controlling Development and Quality Production
Responsibilities
- Validate/verify by inspection and testing cable parameters/functionality purchased including sub component parts to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Conformance to requirements of specifications through procurement ensuring requirements of the contract/order is complied with
- Follow the manufacturing process from initiation to delivery of the supplier`s products to take early corrective measures as necessary and document all inspections and test in line with contract requirements. To be available to E-on Senior Project Management
- Monitor the corrective/preventative actions in place via inspections and report accordingly to ensure availability of materials
- Review performance of such audits inspections and make available to Senior Project Management to obtain feedback
- Operate and support an active supplier management through information sharing, to achieve the best supplier performance.
- Actively contribute and share all relevant information to establish an optimal supply chain, with other projects
- Ensure the export cable, onshore and offshore satisfy our QA needs/requirements
