Vacancy details
Construction Lead engineer required to join a global Oil and Gas company located in Norway for a 12 month contract. The Lead Construction Engineer is required to support the construction for surface facility projects for a platform.
The construction engineer will take the project through strategy, engineering, procedure, planning, work packaging, execution and mechanical completion.
Role and Responsibilities
- Construction strategy development and support
- Constructability assessment and verification in design
- Construction planning, performance tracking and control
- Communications and relationship management with contractors
- Interface management
- Effective Fabrication and Offshore Construction Management
- Effective construction indirect management
- Safety Champion at onshore and offshore sites
Requirements
- Professionally qualified Engineer
- 10 years+ working experience as a professional in oil & gas engineering
- Management of package and module fabrication for offshore projects skill
- Project Planning (project logic based planning, down through work packs, job cards, and daily)
- Risk management, Leadership, Contractor Management, Quality Management, HSE Management, Production operations coordination
