Contract specialist required for a contract opportunity with a global oil and gas company in Norway. With experience with contracts negotiations, cost analysis and preparedness to deal with a wide variety of categories the contract specialist is required to start as soon as possible
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, tender and negotiate contracts in line with the business demand.
- Strategically manage tail end spend by working in close coordination with the category managers and other CP colleagues as well as business stakeholders.
- Maximize value from Operational Contracts and implement global framework agreements. Ensure continuity of supply through managing ad-hoc business requirements in accordance with Tail spend management principles.
- Contribute to Value Improvement Savings target.
- Analyse cost basis of procurement operations in the existing contracts for continuous improvement.
- Compliance with: 1) optimized CP process, procedures and business controls for operational contracts; 2) applicable legislation and competition laws. Monitor contract and contractor performance.
- Manage supplier and customer relationships.
- The team is responsible for negotiating and managing operational portfolio, which includes all HSSE low contracts with a value under 7 million USD each.
