Business Analysts required to join a leading Global Telecommunications Services & Solutions Provider, who are experiencing a time of rapid growth. Business Analysts are to be based within the OSS/BSS Pre-Sales Solution Department – European R&D on a permanent basis. The European Research Centre in Munich is responsible for advanced technical research, architecture evolution design and strategic technical planning.
The Role
The Business Analyst will manage the product and solution as a business proposition, holding responsibility for the market and sales readiness of the products and solutions ensuring they are positioned competitively.
Responsibilities
- Investigate the current business model and propose new models based on the providers` deep understanding of the telecom/media industry. Helping the customer to gain broader margin with the latest BSS/OSS technology
- Lead the creation of business case proposals to assist in achieving the competitive objectives of the product and solutions with the Product Management team
- Assess the feasibility of the business requirements, discuss with both R&D and maintenance colleagues for possible solutions
- Track, monitor and report on execution of plans
- Track, monitor and report on market and competitive analysis
- Organize and hold workshops to clarify requirements, ensuring knowledge transfer
- Establish clear pricing and innovative business models where applicable
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor of computer or electronics or higher degree
- Strong Knowledge and experience in BSS/OSS/IT domain
- 8+ years of work experience on Telecom/IT Vendor or Telecom Carrier
- Rich region / country Pre-sales experiences
- Familiar with the industrial BSS/OSS framework, Business Process, IT planning, IT transformation
- Familiar with one of the following domain: BSS total solution, OSS total solution, BSS/OSS solution integration, BSS/OSS/IT managed services
Business Analysts will need to demonstrate self-motivation and be capable of solving problems under pressure.
Frequent International travel will be expected.
