A Wireless Solution Designer / System Designer – Wireless is required by Global Telecoms Vendor to join their newly created Wireless Solution Department. The Telecoms Vendor is looking for 10 experts to work from an R&D perspective to help improve the competitiveness of their singleRAN solution with their operator clients in Europe. The desired candidate will work within their Swedish R&D competency centre.
Responsibilities
- To be responsible from an R&D perspective for improving the competitiveness of the Telecom Vendors SingleRAN solution within Europe.
- To work with and support Tier 1 operators in Europe and to help optimize the commercial operation scenarios & requirements for customers to help improve solutions their wireless products
- Participate in the project solution planning within the specified subject, clarify the customers requirements within the development and delivery stages
Required Experience
A system level design experience within one of the following technical areas is a must
- RAN sharing
- Security
- Backhaul
- O&M across different RAT`s
- Radio scenario analysis
- GSM RRM algorithm or GSM performance
The candidates must have
- Must have worked in R&D
- Have experience of working within a major telecom vendor
- Have a strong long term background within system design in either wireless or RAN Level.
- Fluent in written and oral English
