Business Consultants required to join a leading Global Telecommunications Services & Solutions Provider, who are experiencing a time of rapid growth. Business Consultants are to be based within the OSS/BSS Pre-Sales Solution Department – European R&D on a permanent basis. The European Research Centre in Munich is responsible for advanced technical research, architecture evolution design and strategic technical planning.
The Role
The (pre-sales) Business Consultant is responsible for understanding the customer`s needs and aligning those needs with the provider`s products and service offerings. Managing the pre-sales process and work with technical staff to deliver all technical aspects of the pre-sales activities in line with technical and business architecture.
Responsibilities
- Creation and execution of customer-specific presentations
- Presenting technical demonstrations
- Responding to Request for Information/Proposal documents
- Working with sales people on the execution of specific sales strategies
- Support sales planning and client strategy
- Actively improve customer experience and manage customer expectations
- Meeting customers and delivering presentations
- Managing bid proposals
- Support in handover to project team
- Influence of product and services revenue
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor of computer or electronics or higher degree
- Strong Knowledge and experience in BSS/OSS/IT domain
- 8+ years of work experience on Telecom/IT Vendor or Telecom Carrier
- Rich region / country Pre-sales experiences
- Familiar with the industrial BSS/OSS framework, Business Process, IT planning, IT transformation
- Familiar with one of the following domain: BSS total solution, OSS total solution, BSS/OSS solution integration, BSS/OSS/IT managed services
Business Consultants will need to demonstrate self-motivation and be capable of solving problems under pressure.
Frequent International travel will be expected.
