A Senior Risk Analyst now required to join one of Europe’s largest Energy Trading Companies based in, Germany. This is a fantastic opportunity for Senior Risk specialists to join a small team and to get directly involved in the decisions relating to the Companies Strategic internal direction, valuation of Financial Products and corporate long term planning.
The role
- Promote effective operation of internal market between group companies
- Design Internal Market mechanisms to allow group wide optimisation
- Perform economic modelling and evaluations
- Develop, test and calibrate internal market pricing tools/curves and market parameters
- High level analysis of market conditions
- Preparation of reports for business groups
- Identify and recommend changes to internal structures
Skills & Experience
- Excellent conceptualising and analytical problem solving skills
- Ideally experienced within a strategic, trading and / or energy related trading organisation
- High level of Market Risk and Structuring/Valuation knowledge
- Quantitative skills and fact-based perspective
- Good project management skills
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English
- Self-starter
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage workload with minimal supervision
- Ability to interact with all levels of the business in a business critical post
- Ability to make clear business decisions
- Strong team player
