Quanta lands exclusive recruitment contract with Pfizer in Ireland

To support Pfizer’s development of a €190M manufacturing plant in Shanbally, Ireland, Quanta is establishing a dedicated recruitment team to put around one hundred people in place over twelve months.

Pfizer is the world’s largest pharmaceutical company. Its development of a manufacturing plant in Ireland is part of its strategy to become one of the top five biologics producers within the next eight years.

There are plans to recruit up to one hundred personnel, many into specialist roles, over the next twelve months. To facilitate this ambitious recruitment programme, Quanta has been exclusively retained to provide search and selection services, bringing in skilled personnel to key positions within the new development.

We are currently seeking a Purification Lead – Manufacturing and a Purification Lead – Technical Services (see our biotechnology and biopharma jobs) . These downstream experts will have extensive experience in chromatography, centrifugation and filtration working with monoclonal antibodies.

Quanta has been providing skilled professional staff to clients within the biopharmaceutical industry for several years and has a proven track record in delivering recruitment solutions to companies across Europe.

In addition to providing search and selection services, Quanta will also be assisting Pfizer in the recruitment of other professional staff – for work on both a permanent and contract basis. To be successful, Quanta will need to ensure that all candidates can work with the ethos and culture of the Pfizer business – which includes open and transparent communications and the promotion of diversity and opportunity.
