Quanta team aims to raise over £1000 by cycling from London to Brighton
Four members of the Quanta team are hoping to raise a minimum of £1000 for charity by cycling over 50 miles from London to Brighton.
The event takes place on the 16 June – and Quanta’s team will be riding to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
The British Heart Foundation is the nation’s heart charity. Every day they save lives, through pioneering research, providing vital information to help people reduce their own heart health risks, campaigning for change and supporting and caring for heart patients.
The team – consisting of Quanta’s Adrian, Eddie, Guy and Stephen - has been training literally day and night (and in all weather) or this 50-mile cycle ride.
Anyone who wishes to contribute can do so via the team’s special event Web site, which has been set up on Just Giving. To donate or view the current amount raised, please go to http://www.justgiving.com/teamquanta.
Note: The Team managed to struggle round under great personal stress. They agreed that for the 2009 London / Brighton ride they ought to undertake some training!
