Over the past few months, Quanta has been experimenting across the gamut of social networks and is delighted to announce the launch of @jobs4telecoms – the first in a series of Twitter accounts dedicated to specific industry sectors.
As well as top European telecoms jobs, we’ll be tweeting industry related news, updates from the telecoms team, and much more.
jobs4telecoms – Quanta’s first Twitter account dedicated to jobs in the telecoms sector.
Says Andy Pearson, Resourcing Director at Quanta: “Social networking has represented the single biggest growth area for Quanta since 2006, and we have already taken the lead by working closely with such professional networks as LinkedIn and Xing. The launch of our Twitter service underlines our commitment to keeping in touch with our ever-growing networks of candidates and employers in real-time. Our followers will be the first to hear about telecoms vacancies as they appear, and can even respond via Twitter – ideal for those on the move or away from their desk.”
As the service is rolled out to other industries, Quanta will be launching some exciting initiatives to recruit new followers over the coming months. Pearson added “We’ll be watching the numbers closely over the coming months. As we bring other industries on stream, we’ll be running events to ensure we reach a good audience in each area.”
