Quanta supplies skilled people to support launch of a new trading floor in Singapore
One of Quanta’s many international clients is currently expanding its operations into the Asia-Pacific market, part of which sees the opening of a new trading floor in Singapore.
The project, which requires technically skilled people to be resourced internationally, is typical of many of those with which Quanta is currently involved. According to Quanta director Andy Pearson, the recruitment specialist is ideally placed to help with similar initiatives. “While we’re not a massive recruitment and contracting company,“ says Pearson, “we are a very well organised and resourced one, with a track record of placing people in dozens of countries around the world. Providing international solutions is everyday work for us.”
For Quanta’s client in Singapore, opening a new trading floor is an enormously important initiative. “Every aspect of the project has to be just right,“ says Pearson. “That means the people we supply have to have the right skills, the ability to relocate or be mobile – and fit in with a totally different culture. Making these kinds of selections is what we do best.”
