Telecoms team go Dutch in May…
May has been another good month for Quanta, in particular the telecoms team.
04 June 2010 · United Kingdom
Quanta established their telecoms recruitment division back in 1992 and since that time they have been delivering contract-/consultant-based recruitment to the European telecoms sector. Over recent months the team has also made some senior permanent appointments with new telecoms clients which have proved to be very beneficial in terms of opening up some new avenues of recruitment.
In May, Quanta was acknowledged as a recruitment partner to a global telecoms company based in The Netherlands. Our success in securing this new client was not only down to our success and track record in recruiting for the telecoms sector, Quanta also believes a large factor was our in-house compliant payroll solution. Quanta ensures all our consultants operate in a compliant manner aligned to the particular country they work in. However, for The Netherlands we have an ‘in-house’ payroll solution that offers benefits and peace of mind to our clients and consultants alike.
Since 1996 Quanta has offered our customers an ‘employed solution’. The benefit to all parties is the assurance that we are operating in a completely compliant fashion within The Netherlands and therefore eliminating the risk of the required employment taxes/social contributions not being paid ‘in-country’. We are able to provide our clients with quarterly accountancy statements for all consultants we have assigned to that client site. This is a major consideration for all organisations in The Netherlands, as the potential liability and impact on organisations found not to be operating consultants compliantly can be crippling.
Andy Pearson, director of the telecoms division, said, “It is important Quanta operates all our consultants in a compliant manner and we do. Our in-house solution for The Netherlands has been a major factor in assisting us to develop new business relationships in this region, as well as maintaining many long-standing relationships. It is a big ‘differentiator’ for clients and consultants alike. Of course, there are other benefits to working in The Netherlands; the 30% ruling can make it a very attractive place to live/work, as well as it having diverse and lively major cities such as Amsterdam.”
