Resource services
Quanta’s recruitment and resourcing services, called Quanta Sensus, provide clients with the best possible solutions to their recruitment and resourcing needs.
When it comes to finding, recruiting and placing people, Quanta has a range of services to suit each situation. While we provide services to all industries, we have in-depth expertise of providing recruitment and resourcing services to the IT/trading, life sciences, renewable energy, semiconductor and telecoms industries.
Permanent recruitment
To recruit the right person, Quanta believes that it’s as important to understand the culture of the company as it is the skills of the vacant role. This enables us to place people more successfully. Once placed, we don’t consider our job done. We stay close to candidates to help ensure that, should a candidate be given a counter offer, we minimise the chances of it disrupting the placement.
Our honest approach means that we explore openly how suitable each candidate is for the role, how serious they are about finding a new job and whether they are attending other interviews – and we only put forward those who are a precise fit to each client’s needs and who are genuinely available.
Contract recruitment
Finding the right contract recruitment solution has to be based on a clear understanding of the business need. We work with clients to find out what’s driving their agenda: for example, it may be that there’s a headcount crisis, or that there is a temporary but important project coming up. We also consider the company – being able to ‘fit in’ is as important as having the right skills.
We also help ensure that contractors will be working within the correct legal structure – for example, being tax compliant when working abroad. It’s usually far better to undertake this during the initial interview stages as it ensures that contractors are fully aware of their working situation before they commit. It’s also important to us to communicate to potential contractors details of their working and living environment – having a clear view of geography and logistics of where they will work helps reduce surprises later that might otherwise cause the contract to stall.
Executive search
Quanta’s executive search operates on an exclusive basis – where an organisation has sufficient confidence in Quanta to enable us to search the market and find exactly the right candidate for a senior role. Our approach is thorough: we know that the best people aren’t usually looking for a job, so aren’t as visible as less suitable candidates. Our search process is discreet and in-depth – and we are equally methodical about interviewing and submitting candidates.
Interim management
When there’s a need to fill a managerial role on a temporary basis, Quanta can help. We can help organisations overcome temporary headcount issues, fill skills or resources gaps, or provide senior people to help with project management or change management for specific short- or long-term projects.
Team sourcing and maintenance
Where a client has a need for a particular set of skills – for example, an e-commerce development team – we can source and place that team into the business. We also ensure that – because a certain degree of staff turnover is inevitable – that we have identified replacement people within our own network who can be brought in quickly to fill any gaps. We can also find and place teams to support new ventures or short- and long-term projects - and provide ongoing ‘maintenance’ of that team (replacing key people quickly should any move on).
Supplier coordination
Sometimes, it makes sense for an organisation to use several recruitment agencies at the same time. However, this raises issues of management overhead, consistency, teamwork and quality control.
Quanta can make sense of this potentially chaotic scenario, by becoming the single point of contact for recruitment logistics and administration. This includes defining and validating job roles, distributing job advertisements and CVs and coordinating the selection and interview process. Our involvement not only reduces overhead and friction, it also can help optimise resources – our ‘bird’s eye view’ enables us to spot if one department is about to recruit for a role when a suitable candidate is already available in a different department.
