At Quanta, we pride ourselves on never standing still. This has seen us grow enormously in the past 28 years, developing three major industries with a truly international scope. Our ambition and commitment to development has
continued in 2020, despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, and we’re pleased to announce our continued expansion into the Irish and US recruitment markets. In addition, from 2021, we will be trading by the name of Quanta, part of Quanta QCS Staffing, reflecting the evolution of our services and our global outlook.
Growing our presence in Ireland and the USA
2020 has long been earmarked as the year we expanded our services in the US and Ireland, and the Covid-19 crisis has not changed that. Although we have not been able to visit these areas as much as we’d liked, our existing presence in each part of the world has meant we have been able to remotely build our networks and establish new offices. We are proud to have opened both the Boston and Dublin offices this year, building on our presence in our chosen industries and expanding our services to provide on-the-ground recruitment solutions.
A Boston base
We chose Boston as the base for our US operation partly because it is routinely ranked as one of the best places to live in the states, and indeed the world. It's an incredible city with
quality infrastructure and education systems, plus has a brilliant catchment of talent. It is also a hub for Quanta’s three industries, with a particularly strong pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical market.
We are fortunate in that we have been selected as a preferred staffing provider to a number of the world’s largest biopharmaceutical start-up projects, and many of those projects are located on the east coast around Boston. This makes the city a natural base for us, as does the planned investment in offshore wind around the east coast area.
Our experience as an international staffing services provider has seen us work in the USA for the last 12 years, so we have an existing network of clients and candidates to pull from. Our expansion is in response to the ongoing demand for our services and will enhance and expand the high levels of service we are already providing to the American market. Our intention is to not only attract new staff to this office, but also to create opportunities for our existing staff to work in Boston and further grow the Quanta brand and presence in this part of the world.
Developing in Dublin
Ireland is beloved by Quanta, and we have worked there for 20 years. As our largest individual market, it is extremely important for us to have a strong local presence in Ireland, and that is why we have now opened an office in Dublin.
Quanta is already known as the number one staffing partner for start-up projects in the Irish pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries, and as the go-to partner for temporary and contract staffing services. The Irish office is therefore a natural evolution of the brand and business. With
inward investment from data centres set to reach €10 billion in Ireland by 2022, we can expect to see our
ICT services in high demand in coming years, plus the ongoing investment in both onshore and offshore wind within
renewable energy. Our deep experience in renewable energy and our ability to service biopharmaceutical projects of all sizes means we are best placed to continue delivering exceptional solutions in Ireland in
2021 and beyond. Our existing presence, coupled with our strong networks and local knowledge, means we can build on an established reputation and provide a hub for our clients, candidates and staff in the Emerald Isle.
A local partner with deep market expertise
We have always acted as a local partner that is based internationally, and these new offices will solidify our presence in the USA and Ireland and allow Quanta to further develop services there. We will be a local provider with a local presence, but with the added benefit of an international reach. Our core market sectors are continuing to grow and are more important now than ever before, enabling our new offices to support this growth in a more localised way whilst at the same time maintaining our incredible international reach. We are eager to continue this growth and embedding
our values in these new offices, ensuring our culture remains strong across the business whilst embracing local differences and customs.
Ongoing growth pushes us forward
Quanta’s growth is due to the commitment, drive, discipline and energy of all our staff, who have always been phenomenal and have demonstrated these characteristics in droves throughout the pandemic. Our ‘One Team’ value and philosophy has solidified during the past six months, and our business continues to flourish because of our staff and their commitment.
