3D Piping Engineer

An exciting role to support the design and planning team as 3D Piping Engineer on an energy from waste project. 

The contract will be assisting the EPC client. The client has many years of experience in the power sector. They're leading discipline is the design, planning and construction of turnkey waste-to-energy plants. Reliable, safe and above all speedy partner for all projects concerning water-steam circuits, firing units and power station ancillary systems.

This project will help cut use of landfill and disposal of municipal waste by making it possible to use it as a source of energy. This waste will be incinerated for simultaneous recovery of heat and production of electricity 

• Assisting the design and planning team Support pipeline planning for the Energy From Waste plant
• Will need to use AutoCad plant 3d to create drawings and cad designs of all small pipework on the plant
• Preparation of Flowsheets and Piping & Instrumentation Diagram’s
• Preparation of 3D piping
• Preparation of site layouts 
• Preparation of pipe work and detailed drawings
• The use of Plant P&ID/Plant 3D/Revit/AutoCAD to produce the above models/drawings
• Carry out site surveys

Must-Have experience using AutoCad Plant 3D, Navisworks 
5-6 days on-site - 10 hour days
