Application Developer c#.net

New permanent opportunity for an Application Developer with a skill set including C#.Net, Javascript, react and related tools. The role is live now and the client will interview promptly. You can work remotely to start with and when possible, either at the client's London office or the Wiltshire office. You'll join an existing team that supports an international organisation with bespoke and BAU applications.

As a .Net Developer you will:

• Be part of the team that is responsible for Regulatory and New Business IT systems.
• Interact closely with teams across IT and the business (e.g. Risk, Back Office) to understand new requirements, evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Communicate progress to stakeholders, end users and to the team.
• Contribute to building high quality software by using your knowledge to implement robust, efficient solutions.
• Keep up to date with developments in technology and quickly adapt to them to achieve better results.
• Work in agile model and take responsibility for business critical applications in the Regulatory and Operations Team.

 You will have: 

• Excellent knowledge of .NET, including C# and ideally F#.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript development, specifically ES6 with Typescript and React with Webpack, as well as Yarn for package management.
• Excellent knowledge of software development best practice, including Continuous Integration.
• Experience creating and consuming web services using XML or JSON, using Suave or ASP.NET Web API for example; experience with message brokers such as ActiveMQ; and experience with relational and document databases.
