Array Cable Supply Manager

We have an opportunity for a Consultant to work as Array Cable Supply Manager (specialist) for one of our leading renewable energy clients. This is a 12.5-month freelance role with the possibility to extend further thereafter.  The consultant can be based at the client’s prestigious office in either London or Denmark. Travel will be expected 4 – 6 travel days / month. You will be responsible for the supply and termination of offshore array cables and connection equipment.
 
Responsibility:  

• To take part in the project team meetings and cross discipline cooperation.
• Make sure that the project is on time within scope, budget, and delivered to a high standard.
• Comply at all times with the client’s quality standards, ISO9001, QUBE and SHERLOCK, as well as good engineering practice.
• Make sure that best technical practices are always implemented.
• Handover of agreed documentation to S & C and O & M.
• Enforce and comply with and enforce the clients HSE requirements by promoting an excellent safety culture.
• Ensure a high level of quality through all elements of the project.
• Give input to Design Critical to quality (CTQ).
• After contracts are signed ensuring the updating of Critical to Quality (CTQ) and control of CTQ is transferred to Quality Activity Schedule (QAS).

Qualifications:

•  BSc Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 2 – 3 yrs. of practical as well as theoretical experience within MV/HV cables, components and installation.
