Asset Manager

Quanta are looking for Onshore Wind Asset Managers to support one of our clients in their London office with the management of a portfolio of onshore wind assets.

Are you happy to be based in central London with a minimum of 5 years’ onshore wind experience, ideally involving the management of wind farm assets with gearbox turbines? Our client are a leading consultancy/third party service provider involved in onshore wind and solar projects across Operational Management and Technical Supervision, Construction Management and Due Diligence/Advisory services.

The core is to deliver control, technical resilience and robust reporting to portfolios of mainly wind assets throughout the UK. This role will ensure performance is optimized across a client’s portfolio by maximizing up time with strong management of service providers (e.g. O&M’s), issue resolution, driving performance and quality improvements.

This role has aspects that are broader than just a technical function including supporting the implementation of quality systems and processes which deliver performance improvements. To this end, there will be an opportunity to lead on a number of strategic projects to support change.

The Wind Farm Asset / Analyst Manager will:

• Be the first point of contact for a client portfolio
• Carry out technical monitoring for wind farms (including high voltage)
• Manage supplier and service-provider relations
• Identify technical improvement solutions
• Prepare technical reports for clients
• Monitor contractual obligations: maintenance, insurance, Health and Safety …
• Carry out from time to time external audits
• As a Wind turbine expert, act as support for the rest of the Asset management team concerning wind turbine technical issues.
• Develop new performance analysis
• Be the day to day contact towards clients
• Collaborate in Due Diligence

Experience in wind energy advisory in the UK, wind farms performance reviews, due diligences . Detailed experience of reading and interpreting contracts and ensuring compliance is essential.

Detailed experience in the production of reports, ensuring consistent high standards is required with outstanding presentation skills.
