Black Utilities Specialist - Contract - Denmark 

Our global Biopharmaceutical client are seeking the expertise of an experienced Black (Grey) Utilities Engineer to support multiple projects in Denmark. This role will require the successful candidate to be based in Denmark as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:
  • Black Utilities – specifically cooling tower, chilled water, plant steam, and instrument air
  • Responsible for developing the schedule and delivery for all aspects of Black Utilities on the project
  • CIP, unit design, CIP distribution, and CIP/SIP
  • Act as work package owner, with utility project teams 
  • Working on FAT/SAT execution
  • Review and generate URS
  • Develop a schedule for the delivery of all aspects of the black utilities for the project
  • Administer and report on the Interface Utilities Costs 
  • Develop execution strategy to deliver the scope in a controlled manner
  • Facilitate engineering and user requirements for the utility systems
Experience:
  • Bachelor of Engineering or Science Degree in Engineering or Technology related discipline
  • 8+ years experience in a similar role in Black Utilities
  • Biopharmaceutical experience
  • Technical knowledge of black utilities systems and equipment, biotechnology processes and a working knowledge of FDA and EU regulations
  • Previous experience of Black Utilities design, specification, installation and qualification
  • Experience with Black Utility, cooling, steam, compressed air, gasses
  • Experience with CIP, both unit design, and CIP distribution and CIP/SIP
  • Working on FAT/SAT execution
  • Must have experience of working from design through to final hand over
  • Engaging with Stakeholders/User Groups/Procurement/Suppliers
