BMS Engineer - Life Sciences - Limerick - 12 Month Contract 

Our client are industry-leading builders and contractors with comprehensive expertise across all sectors, including Data Centres and Pharma/Life Sciences. Traditionally they have been a specialist in civil infrastructure, but they are now expanding their M&E offering.


Responsibilities:
  • The Integration of various building management systems, such as HVAC, lighting, access control, and security, into a central control system.
  • They will require experience in design, installation, management, and commissioning of the Building Management System. 
  • Responsible for the development of control strategies and logic to optimise building operations.
  • Installation and Commissioning of hardware
  • Configuration of hardware components, sensors, controllers, and communication devices.
  • Ensure proper wiring, connection, and communication between system components.
  • Commissioning of the BMS to ensure it meets design criteria and operates effectively.
  • Producing documentation to instruct other engineers or users on how to interact with the BMS.
  • Maintaining existing building management systems by fixing errors, running tests and updating software
  • Conducting risk assessments
  • Provide technical support to other engineers

Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of building automation and control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with software tools and platforms used for BMS design and control.

Nice to Have:
  • Project Management Experience 
  • 6 years experience
