CAPEX Project Manager

Contract opportunity for a CAPEX Project Manager to join a global pharmaceutical company rapidly expanding their manufacturing capacities in France and Belgium.

The Cell and Gene therapy market is one of the fastest growing markets within Life-sciences and our client is at the forefront of this movement, investing millions into two state-of-the-art facilities across Europe.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility of the engineering project & oversee the project controls function of two new build projects – cost & schedule – ultimately to support the delivery of the two assets – from capital project into operational readiness & handover.

Required experience:

• Language: Ideally fluent French speaker
• Start-up experience – from design to operational readiness
• Medium scale new build experience - $50 million +
• Gene Therapy or Biologics experience
• Previous experience of taking full responsibility of the engineering project & oversee the project controls function of a new build project – cost & schedule – ultimately to support the delivery of two assets – from capital project into operational readiness & handover
• Initial responsibility will be to create the road map for delivery of both facilities
• Proven experience in delivering project scope on time and within budget
• Ability to build a strong team who can deliver within set deadlines
• Fantastic communication skills with all levels including stakeholders
• You must be eligible to work in Europe.
