Capital Project Planner

Our biotech client with manufacturing facilities just outside London is currently investing significantly in their manufacturing programme. This state-of-the-art facility houses high-technology and next-gen processes to produce drugs that are distributed throughout the Globe. The site is easily reachable by two major airports and has excellent transport links throughout.

The client is currently seeking the expertise of a Capital Project Planner 


Role Responsibilities:

• Facilitate planning and progress workshops, identify inter and intra projects dependencies.
• Provide guidance to the Project Managers and Shutdown Manager of potential conflicts for both schedule and resources.
• Make presentations on any major Capital Projects as required.
• Provide resource loaded timelines for proposed projects and provide viable project plans in a recognised format.
• Ensure each schedule has critical path mapped.
• Jointly formulate with Head of Capital Projects an annual site wide projects timeline / resource loaded schedule.
• Act as Project Manager deputy where necessary.
• Define, monitor and maintain project programmes through design, construction, commissioning and validation phases to agreed completion targets.
• Formulate earned value data and reports
• Ensure relevant industry, safety and construction and GMP standards are visible within each schedule.
• Compile and maintain master schedule of all Capital Projects
• Carry out Project Planning training for Capital Projects personnel
• Monitoring schedule progress during all phases an escalate irreversible deviations as well as showcase best practices.
• Preparation of construction programmes from information produced at Outline Design and Produce Monthly reports for Senior Management
