Commercial Project Manager – Data Centre

We are looking for an experienced commercial project manager that has experience of managing migration projects within the data centre industry. This is an opportunity to lead multiple projects for a global data centre management and IT infrastructure provider as well as look to manage the service delivery.

The Opportunity

As Commercial Project Manager you will be managing the entire lifecycle of the data centre project, leading, and managing each stage of the project from migrating live operations into new facilities as well as ensuring the ongoing service plan is delivered. As Commercial Project Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• You’ll will be leading the timeline of the project from plan through to execution
• You’ll will monitor the program and project timeline ensuring each phase is delivered on time
• You’ll will be managing the external service providers as well as negotiating the terms and agreements      
• You’ll will then support the go live plan, leading the service delivery team during the handover phase  

About you

We are looking for an experienced data centre project manager that has experience in managing live facilities as well as leading onsite projects and migrations. It is essential that you have experience in data centre infrastructure ideally in large hyperscale facilities, strong understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment as well IT Infrastructure.

We are looking for someone to lead the project in its entirety and can demonstrate supporting the phasing into operations and service management. You will be able to demonstrate negotiating with external service providers and well as managing them through the project.

 
This is an initial 10 month contract position with the potential option to extend or transition into a permanent, if you are looking for your next project and you have extensive experience in the data centre industry we want to hear from you.
