Commissioning Lead – Pharmaceuticals – Contract – Denmark

We are currently supporting a large investment into new manufacturing facilities and expansion of an existing facility in the heart of Denmark, and currently are looking for a Commissioning Lead.

This investment will establish additional capacity across the entire global value chain from manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients to assembly and packaging, with the vast of majority being invested in API capacity.

Commissioning Lead Responsibilities: 
  • Management of CQ Scope, Schedule, and Budget.
  • Oversight and implementation of the defined CQ Program, ensuring quality delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with project support groups (e.g., process, mechanical, E&I, utilities, automation, construction, engineering, end user) and their management and opinion leaders to influence decisions. 
  • Manage and report on their workload and progress to the Commissioning Manager/Project Director.
  • Provide technical oversight and program management as needed to assure technical work quality and progress of CQ Engineers.
  • Manage generation and execution of C&Q documentation (FAT, SAT, IOC, DQ, IQ, OQ, IOQ) for the project based on available approved client templates & design documentation.
About you:
  • Previous experience’ in Commissioning Lead/CQV Lead/Senior Engineer role.
  • 8+ years’ experience including experience with design and construction projects for pharma/biopharma manufacturing facilities.
  • Experience with complex projects and within a CQV Lead capacity taking responsibility for a team of engineers.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines – excellent planning and coordination skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency communicating and collaborating at a variety of levels with customers, vendors, suppliers, and operations staff.
  • Computer skills – spreadsheets, word processing, Visio, MS project
