Commissioning Manager - Frankfurt - 18-Month Contract

Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi- Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. Responsibilities:

• Liaise closely with the client mechanical commissioning manager to provide combined Electrical programme drop lines and look ahead schedules.
• Create and/or maintain best company practices to identify and incorporate quality and cost-effective solutions to commissioning.
• Manage the contracted commissioning agent assigned to the construction project.
• Comment on commissioning procedures and standards where you believe can be improved. 
• Construction site inspections to review QA/QC and commissioning process.
• Drive the project commissioning process including scope and schedule and attend site SAT tests with Dome and sub-contractors.
• Travel and lodging away required.
• Attend client and end user meetings as required and directed by the project manager.
• Regularly review construction progress, QA/QC, commissioning progress, issues, and KPI metrics to report to management.
• Coordinate CX meetings and activities of vendor project managers.
• Attend scheduled owner / architect / contractor and other project meetings, and provide a report as necessary.

Requirements:

• Completed studies in the field of engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in the commissioning of plants, ideally in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or semiconductor industries.
• Sound knowledge of process automation and control technology as well as of project management.
• Experience with GMP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and team orientation.
• Willingness to travel.
