Are you a Commissioning Manager looking for your next contract role? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our valued client in Frankfurt on an initial 18-month contract.
Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi- Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. This is your chance to join an innovative, market leading data centre company as their newest Commissioning Manager. Responsibilities:
- Liaise closely with the client mechanical commissioning manager to provide combined Electrical programme drop lines and look ahead schedules.
- Create and/or maintain best company practices to identify and incorporate quality and cost-effective solutions to commissioning.
- Manage the contracted commissioning agent assigned to the construction project.
- Comment on commissioning procedures and standards where you believe can be improved.
- Construction site inspections to review QA/QC and commissioning process.
- Drive the project commissioning process including scope and schedule and attend site SAT tests with Dome and sub-contractors.
- Travel and lodging away required.
- Attend client and end user meetings as required and directed by the project manager.
- Regularly review construction progress, QA/QC, commissioning progress, issues, and KPI metrics to report to management.
- Coordinate CX meetings and activities of vendor project managers.
- Attend scheduled owner / architect / contractor and other project meetings, and provide a report as necessary.
Requirements:
- Completed studies in the field of engineering or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in the commissioning of plants, ideally in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or semiconductor industries.
- Sound knowledge of process automation and control technology as well as of project management.
- Experience with GMP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and team orientation.
- Willingness to travel.
