Commissioning Supervisor - Renewable Energy - Finland

Our client are a leading global developer and process technology provider, responsible for the installing of various components such as boilers, gasifiers, environmental protection systems and technology rebuilds. Additionally, the company supplies complete medium-scale heat and power plants focusing on using biomass and municipal waste.


Responsibilities:

During the check-out / commissioning period the inspections and testing are carried out by the client and customer in order to ensure that all equipment has been installed in accordance with the project specifications and standards.

Cold commissioning period:
  • Installation checking.
  • Cold testing of instrument, control/safety system and electrical equipment
  • Final checking of installation works.
  • Functional tests (P&I diagrams, sequences, interlockings, alarms, limits)
  • The process simulations (water runs)

Hot Commissioning period:
  • Start-up of equipment
  • Finalising hot commissioning procedures
  • Notified Authority (NOBO -) tests, when needed

Requirements:
  • At least five years of working experience in a similar position as commissioning engineer for a fiberline, causticizing, cocking or similar process equipment's as a process operator or an operational engineer
  • Has a good understanding of commissioning and startup issues
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc..)
