Our Partner in Tipperary area develops and supplies the active ingredients and final formulated product for a range of innovative medicines at its manufacturing and R&D facilities. The plant, which has been operating in Tipperary for over 40 years, exports to over 25 countries around the world with primary markets being Europe, USA and Japan.

Due to increase in demand, they are expanding their team and require a Construction Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:
  • Works closely with CM from EPCM to develop construction team.
  • Attends field walk downs as client CM Representative to ensure that appropriate standards are being met with installations.
  • Attends and provides inputs to Interactive Pull Planning Workshops with appointed contractors and other stakeholders to plan out construction and energisation activities in a schedule critical project.
  • Ensure that Lean Construction Tools and Methodologies are being implemented.
Requirements:
  • At least eight years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, ideally within an OSD environment.
  • Hands-on knowledge of capital projects, from design through construction and commissioning to handover.
  • Proven knowledge, appreciation and experience of working with Lean Construction Tools and Methodologies
