Construction Manager - Pharmaceuticals - France - 12-Month Contract 

Our client develops and delivers life changing medicines to millions of people globally and as part of their growth, they are looking to build their first manufacturing facility in Ireland.

This role would be based in a state-of-the-art API manufacturing facility which should improve efficiency and sustainability for the manufacturing and distribution of their medicines.

Responsibilities: 
  • Support implementation of the SHE Requirements with Safety Construction Manager including site inspections and reporting.
  • Responsible for developing Construction Quality Management Plan and Construction Management Plan for the project. These documents will be part of the RFP for the construction companies.
  • Provide leadership and management oversight for Contractors and their sub-contractors in the construction/ installation planning, sequencing, coordination and interfaces management within the extended project delivery team and wider parties (Operations, Facilities Management, Site SHE and etc.);
  • Oversee the Construction Quality requirements with Contractor(s) to ensure that a robust in process inspection & testing plan is in place.
  • Oversee and manage the approval of onsite mock-ups and samples from Contractor(s) with the project key members.
  • Oversee the completion and compilation of accurate as-built drawings and Turnover Packages
  • Be actively part of the discussion during the Change notice meeting.
  • Continuously follow-up on schedules form contractor and/or managing contractor in collaboration with Project Service
  • Develops and maintains a construction Plan-Do-Review Board of project build sequence and schedule status for team coordination and communication.
  • Act as an interface with site stakeholders to address and resolve any issues in the interfaces with site and with any external to site stakeholders.

Requirements: 
  • French speaking 
  • Full time on site
  • Experience with pharmaceutical projects
  • Experience external vendors/stakeholders in previous roles
  • Qualified in construction management 
  • Degree in relevant field
