Construction Safety Manager – Data Centres – 12 Month Contract – Amsterdam

Are you a Construction Safety Manager looking for your next contract assignment? Our client, one of the top 4 hyperscale data centre providers across the globe, needs the expertise of a Construction Safety Manager for their current European projects.

With a global footprint over 5 continents and 60 countries, this is an exciting opportunity to join a truly international organisation responsible for providing some of the world’s most recognisable scalable data centres. This forward-thinking data centre provider has plans to double the number of facilities in the EMEA region by 2025.

This is an opportunity for you to work client-side with an ambitious organisation in the data centre market.

Construction Safety Manager Responsibilities:

• Responsible for approving risk assessments, method statements, reviewing permits with construction teams
• Safety inductions, daily walk rounds with managers and client
• Weekly reports
• Observation trackers
• Deliver toolbox training
• Monthly presentation to the project teams
• Report back to management every Friday
• Keeping the contractors organised and in-line with site policies

About you:

• 3 years + Construction HSE experience – works will include Piling and groundworks
• Ideally experience in Netherlands on similar projects
• POC for all HSE queries, risk assessments, reviewing permits, safety inductions, walk arounds delivering training to site staff
• Any Mission critical (Data Centre / Life science / pharma / oil & gas)
• Some Flexibility on hours / days, but generally 7:30/8am – 4pm – to be discussed with client
