Construction Site Manager

Long term contract opportunities for onshore wind farm construction managers in the Nordic region with project duration until the end of 2021. Working for a major utility you would be responsible for overseeing the construction and successful site management of large scale onshore wind farm installations.   • Establish site organisation in co-operation with the Project Manager.
  • Provide leadership, coordination, and management for the local construction team
  • Support the project team in all site aspects and liaise with other project team members.
  • Optimise site organization
  • The ability to liaise with local stakeholders (e.g. local authority, councils, landowners) in order to maintain relationships.
  • Budget and timeline management
  • Ensure that all relevant HSE and quality procedures are followed.
  • Responsibility for overarching site monitoring and management of subcontractors
  • Complete timely documentation reviews
 Qualification, Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
  • Onshore wind farm site management experience, preferable on large construction sites.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate in English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to make decisions and to give orders to construction team members
  • Able to liaise with other departments/clients where necessary.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications.
