Construction Site Manager

Long term contract opportunities for onshore wind farm construction managers in the Nordic region with project duration until the end of 2021. Working for a major utility you would be responsible for overseeing the construction and successful site management of large scale onshore wind farm installations. With start dates available within the next four weeks read on to find out more about these exciting opportunities.
  • Establish site organisation in co-operation with the Project Manager.
  • Provide leadership, coordination, and management for the local construction team
  • Support the project team in all site aspects and liaise with other project team members.
  • Optimise site organization
  • The ability to liaise with local stakeholders (e.g. local authority, councils, landowners) in order to maintain relationships.
  • Budget and timeline management
  • Ensure that all relevant HSE and quality procedures are followed.
  • Responsibility for overarching site monitoring and management of subcontractors
  • Complete timely documentation reviews
 Qualification, Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
  • Onshore wind farm site management experience, preferable on large construction sites.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate in English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to make decisions and to give orders to construction team members
  • Able to liaise with other departments/clients where necessary.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications.
