Contracts Manager - Energy From Waste - London

Responsibilities:

• Provide advice and support during negotiation of commercial contract conditions with clients and partners. Review contracts and draft comments and contract clauses with specific application to the UK.
• Support local and main office procurement, in particular flow down and negotiation of key terms for subcontractors/suppliers.
• Support local commercial arrangements (such as bank guarantees, taxes, customs, and logistics in coordination with Supply Management, Legal, Finance, etc.).
• Review contracts and project documents for potential risks or constraints and propose responses in commercial documentation and during tender risk assessment reviews.
• Support procurement, including alignment of subcontract/supply conditions with client contracts, and negotiation of terms.
• Review budgets and cost to complete together with project team

Requirements:

• Common law legal education.
• Qualified QS, RICS an advantage.
• Experience in construction of industrial plant
• Proficient with standard form (NEC, IChemE, FIDIC) and bespoke contracts, operations & maintenance agreements, service agreements an advantage.
