Contracts Manager - Contract

An exciting long-term contract opportunity to work on a new build waste treatment and recovery plant project. Our client provides services to local authorities, public service contractors, and waste treatment operators.

We are seeking contract manager where several issues have been identified:
  • Proven experience liaising with subcontractors from a civil engineering background, WRT design quality, construction quality, delays.
  • Involvement in dealing with consequences of the above civil related issues, in addition to standard contract and claims management where required.
Responsibilities:
  • Control the implementation of the Client’s contract and the subcontracts from a CM perspective
  • Analyse the issues at stake from all perspectives and propose strategies and action plans
  • Monitor the implementation of the action plans and ensure that they are followed by the project management team
  • Responsible for the writing of contractual letters
  • Monitor the production of specific reports (such as delay analysis, quantum analysis)
Requirements:
  • A contract manager with a number of years’ experience of EPC contracts in the UK, preferably in the delivery of industrial plants or power plants, and an understanding of the civil engineering related issues.
  • Preferably an engineer with contractual and legal skills or a degree of similar.
  • Perfect writing in contractual English
