DevOps Cloud Engineer - London - Full time

Stay clear of IR35 and take on a new permanent opportunity as a DevOps Cloud Engineer for an international trading company. Work remotely to start with then onsite at their office in the City. Focus on AWS cloud, PaaS & IaaS and related environments as part of a new team being put together by a well-regarded and talented manager. This is a live role with a two stage interview process and the manager is keen to receive CVs now.

As the DevOps Cloud Engineer you will:
  • Automate the build of cloud environments to support our strategic data platform. 
  • Be a specialist for cloud architecture and cloud native solutions, define tools, designs, architecture and work with several vendors in the market to take ownership of great technical roll-outs.
  • Be a real technical problem solver, able to create awesome solutions for complex requirements with a hands-on attitude.
  • Specialise in various automation techniques in delivering Cloud native Services using a wide range of technologies.

You will have:
  • Experience as part of a successful DevOps team, potentially with Team Leadership experience.
  • Versatile technical experience of cloud platforms, automation and continuous software delivery
  • Strong PaaS, IaaS experiences within AWS
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation etc.)
  • Fundamental experiences in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps Server, GitLab or similar).
  • Hands on experience with of Amazon Web Services including S3, Redshift, Athena, KMS, IAM, CloudTrail, Glue
  • Experience in development and scripting (Shell, Python, Ruby, Bash)
  • Good working experiences with Windows and Linux server
  • Certifications in related fields.
