Document Controller

We have a requirement for a Document Controller to work with one of our leading renewable energy clients. This is a 24-month freelance contract based at our client’s offices in London.  We are looking for a Consultant that can start this role on or around 3^rd June 2019 up until 31^st May 2021. This is a 5-day working week, you should also be prepared to travel 4 days a month every three months to the US. You must have experience of working within EL packages. 
 
Responsibility:   

•  Ensure that professional and timely document control support to a technical package
• Ensure compliance to document and records management processes
• Ensure implementation and communication of the document and records management requirements, responsibilities, tools and processes
• Standardisation and best practices to develop, improve and align documentation quality across asset Projects and or Production Line
• Support the documentation transfer to O&M and OFTO in close corporation with the Records Manager
• Review monthly & quarterly baseline review of package master document registers against contractual delivery plans
• Support the quality team in their delivery of project quality standards and liaise with quality manager.
• Must have knowledge of working within EL packages

 
Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience as project documentation controller and or QA/QC roles in engineering projects

The Consultant must bring his / her own PC with MS Office 2007 software or newer and mobile telephone

The Consultant must bring his / her own mobile iPhone 4S, 5C, 5S, 6 or 6+ or a Window phone 8.1
