Electrical & Automation Technician - Permanent - Full time

You could be working for a pharmaceutical company who have a major focus on the development and marketing of Oncology and Neurology treatment as well as consumer health, chemicals and food additives. In this role you will be responsible for the reliable and GMP compliant operation of Electrical and Automation/Controls equipment on manufacturing, packaging machinery, and supporting systems with the facility. You will be tasked with fault finding and repair of all electrical equipment and controls associated with production and manufacturing to make sure the systems are performing an optimum capacity.

You will have the following experience/qualifications

• Relevant Engineering Apprenticeship
• Minimum of an HNC Level electrical/Automation biased qualification
• Demonstrable experience of the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience and use of computer-based maintenance e.g. Maximo
• PLC knowledge (preferably Siemens) and computer-controlled systems
• Fault finding skills with determination to understand breakdown/failure root cause and prevent occurrence
