Electrical Package Manager – Netherlands – Permanent

Are you a Dutch speaking Electrical Engineer with a Masters’ Degree and a minimum of three years offshore wind project experience? If so then Quanta would be very interested to hear from you on behalf of our client.

Currently Quanta are engaged to provide our client with a new permanent member of their offshore wind team who will have the exciting role of Electrical Package Manager with a specific focus on new projects in both development and acquisition.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established renewable energy organisation who develop and own assets both outright and in collaboration with other partners in JV project structures. The current role holder is moving internally within the organisation; testament to the company’s desire to progress the careers of their employees.

In order to fulfil this role you must possess a minimum of three years post academic experience in Wind energy Electrical Engineering and able to cover Wind Turbine Generator (WTG), Cable and Substation (switchgear) Electrical related topics.

Responsibilities will include:

-        Coordination of tender processes ensuring complete and prompt proposals are received from potential subcontractors ensuring technical, safety and commercial considerations are met both for design and installation options

-        Key member of the project team overseeing and managing relevant external parties

-        Successfully lead the specification and design the total electrical infrastructure for projects

-        Coordination of onshore and offshore electrical activities specific focus on switchgear, turbine, and cables

-        Ensuring design and installation complies with grid connection requirements

-        Electrical expert towards the project organisation and stakeholders providing technical guidance and support on related topics


A fluency in both Dutch and English as well as a strong educational background are key to being considered for this role. Applications are reviewing on an ongoing basis with interviews arranged as relevant applications are received.
