Electrical Project Manager – Pharmaceuticals – Contract – Texas

Are you looking for the opportunity to work with a global biopharmaceutical company? This is your chance! Our client develops and delivers life changing medicines to millions of people globally and as part of their growth, they are looking for an Electrical Project Manager  to help support operations at their Texas facility.

With their Drug Substance (DS) manufacturing network growing rapidly, they are committed to growing their portfolio of commercial biologics products supplied worldwide – and this is your opportunity to be involved!

Electrical Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with the project team to design the electrical systems for the project
  • Detailed design experience for electrical systems.
  • Layout and size electrical equipment on floor plans.
  • Responsibilities will likely include demonstrated understanding of switchgear design, low, medium, and high voltage, single line diagrams, line, etc.
  • Ability to coordinate and interact effectively with other MEP disciplines.
  • Identifying deliverables, defining requirements, creating design drawings.
  • Develop technical specifications and layouts while working in tandem with project managers and engineers across multiple disciplines.
  • Manager engineering teams and other electrical engineering staff members
 About you:
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in facility design (electrical and technical background)
  • 5 + years pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical engineering project experience.
  • Previous experience in ownership of electrical work package of project >$50 MM
  • Knowledge of and direct operational experience within manufacturing facilities ideally within an API facility
  • Knowledge and experience of project execution for fully automated facility design
