 Electrical SME - Pharmaceuticals – Contract (Part Time) – Remote (Shanghai)

Are you looking for the opportunity to work with a global biopharmaceutical company? This is your chance! Our client develops and delivers life changing medicines to millions of people globally and as part of their growth, they are looking for an Electrical SME to help support operations at their Shanghai based facility. This is a part time (circa 80 hours per month) remote working contract.

As the Electrical SME, you must be a native speaker of Mandarin (or highly proficient) as well as English.

Electrical SME Responsibilities:
  • Electrical Power Systems
  • Building Services System
  • Process Equipment
  • Act on behalf of the Global Engineering Group supporting the design and delivery of a new build inhaler manufacturing facility
  • Prepare Project Technical Requirements Specification for all systems specifying performance requirements & applicable standards.
  • Ensure all relevant specifications are delivered to the Design Contractor.
  • Define & agree with Design Contractor necessary design deliverables for all design stages.
  • Review contractor response to the Project Technical Requirements to ensure requirements are correctly included.
  • Prepare Project specific Technical Requirements for Package Equipment.
About You:
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English language
  • Electrical Engineering qualification
  • Prior experience supporting CAPEX investment projects
  • Internal and external stakeholder communication skills
  • Previous experience working with external design contracts
  • Electrical Power Systems design experience (power systems earthing, lightning protection and low voltage)
