EMSR Planning Engineer, Multiple Projects, Germany 

We are looking for EMSR Planning Engineers to work on 2 Projects based in Germany and 1 outside. Location in Cologne area (DE), partially home office possible and possibly visits to sites.
 

Job Description
  • Gathering and evaluating supplier data
  • Check the technical execution of the suppliers for compliance with specifications.
  • Comment on circuit diagrams, lists and data sheets and communicate them to the suppliers
  • Entry of data in an object-oriented database
  • Creation of Excel reports and Excel lists comparison - Experience with Excel macros desirable
  • Creation of specifications, engineering documents, tender documents, bid review and contract negotiations
  • Assembly planning and in this context creation of cable lists, delivery limit diagrams and specifications
  • Possibly Construction supervision and supervision of the assembly companies as well as commissioning support (Germany and within the EU)
 

Basic knowledge, characteristics and skills
  • Experience in the KKS required
  • Experience in the field of electrical, measuring, switching and control technology of power plants and in particular of waste-to-energy plants is desirable.
  • Ability to read and understand P&ID schemes required
  • Independent processing of work packages and independent procurement of required information
  • Communication skills, initiative, persuasiveness and teamwork
  • Computer skills - Safe handling of MS Excel required
  • Programming knowledge (Visual Basic, etc.) desirable
  • Experience in dealing with AutoCAD programs desirable
  • Practiced handling of databases desirable
 

Furhter information:
  • Language skills - German fluent in spoken and written
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Commercial Conditions
  • Working hours Monday to Friday, core working hours 9:00 to 15:00
  • 40-50h / week (by appointment)
