Environmental Monitoring Support Specialist - Life Science - Philadelphia - 6-Month Contract

This facility in Philadelphia is a trademark facility which is bringing great attention to the company in the US.

Responsibilities: 
  • Manufacturing/QC/ Environmental Monitoring
  • Ability to perform environmental sampling (water, steam, compressed gas)
  • Conducting microbiology assays and keep data forms, log books, and batch records within compliance.
  • Perform lab maintenance, monitoring, and cleaning (lab supplies, equipment maintenance, record keeping).
Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Biology/ Microbiology or within the Life Sciences
  • 0-3 years’ of relevant experience in data collection and review, technical writing, final reports, and any other monitoring and qualifications activities as required.
  • Working on microbiological assays.
  • Ability to keep laboratory forms, log books and batch records with compliance standards.
  • Some relevant experience working in quality or manufacturing if not even laboratory work is acceptable.
  • Desirable experience in collecting environmental monitoring samples, including particulate, viable surface and air samples, and utility samples (water, steam, compressed gas, etc.)
