EPC Director

Are you a Director level candidate with extensive offshore wind experience who is interested in working in emerging markets in Asia Pacific? Quanta are working in partnership with a very exciting offshore wind business with a truly global presence. With many projects in lots of new countries across the globe they are now building their teams in Asia Pacific and require candidates with sufficient gravitas to fulfil the role of EPC Director. Leading projects from development through successful construction until handover to operations these are key roles.


Key duties would include:

• Managing the project scope, schedule, cost and resources within the project during late project development and execution ensuring the most feasible configuration of the project
• Develop and maintain key supplier relations
• Secure the quality of deliverables from teams within your project
• Ensure an excellent HSE performance for the project
• Project risk management
• Stakeholders management
• You will have the overall responsibility for the entire scope of the offshore wind farm project and project management support activities.

 
Your profile:

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering and a strong technical understanding of the offshore wind industry

A global mindset with an ability to communicate clearly and being responsive to local and remote sparring, inputs and requests

Perseverance and an ability to prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines

In-depth knowledge of international project management standards such as PMI, IPMA or PRINCE2, as well as experience with stage-gate, divided project execution

Strong relationship management and networking skills. Proactive and co-operative way of working and high attention to detail

Leadership and team management experience from large, complex infrastructure projects, preferably from a strong matrix organization

Business awareness and understanding of the key drivers and levers that influence business performance
