Our client, based in leafy Hertfordshire, is now looking for a Head of Drug Safety to join their team on a permanent basis. We are looking for candidates who would be able to manage and have overall responsibility for the Pharmacovigilance (PV) function within our clients Medical Department, ensuring regulatory compliance. These services are provided via members of the PV team.

Other duties and responsibilities will include the following:
  • To act as the UK Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (UK QPPV)
  • To plan budgets for PV activities and ensure adherence to budgets
  • To ensure the Chief Medical Officer and Global Leadership Team are provided regular updates of our clients' PV status and immediately notified of potential PV risks.
We are looking for candidates with extensive knowledge of PV Legislation and at least 4 years of experience within Drug Safety.

Candidates will need to previous budgetary management experience and be the PV lead in Regulatory Authority PV audits and inspections and be educated to degree level or similar.
